What You’ll Do as a Swipe Pay Sales Partner


At Swipe Pay, Sales Partners are the frontline of our mission — helping local businesses save money, operate more efficiently, and upgrade their payment technology. You’ll act as a trusted advisor in your community, building relationships and offering real solutions. Here’s what your role will involve:




1. Prospect and Identify Opportunities


  • Target small to mid-sized businesses across a wide range of industries (retail, restaurants, salons, medical, nonprofit, B2B, and more)

  • Prospect through

  • cold calling, door-to-door visits, referrals, networking events, social media

  • , and business databases

  • Leverage Swipe Pay’s lead tools and your own local outreach to generate a daily pipeline




2. Educate and Present


  • Introduce merchants to our top-performing solutions:

  • Cash Discount/Dual Pricing

  • (eliminates 100% of processing fees)

  • Flat Rate and Traditional Processing Options

  • POS systems like Kwick POS and Payanywhere

  • Mobile readers, countertop terminals, online payment solutions

  • Conduct needs analysis to match business owners with the right solution

  • Explain benefits clearly and confidently to business owners with

  • scripts, PDFs, demos, and pitch tools

  • provided




3. Close Deals


  • Collect merchant processing statements for savings analysis

  • Prepare competitive quotes and walk through the pricing with the business

  • Submit digital applications or assist with document collection

  • Set expectations and confirm install timelines for hardware and software

  • Celebrate wins and move to the next deal —

  • this is a high-activity role




4. Onboard and Support Merchants


  • Coordinate with Swipe Pay’s support team to ensure fast installations (typically within 3–5 days)

  • Follow up with the merchant post-install to confirm everything is running smoothly

  • Provide ongoing relationship support, giving merchants a local point of contact

  • Ensure merchants know how to reach tech support, use their portal, and maximize their system




5. Build a Residual Portfolio


  • Every account you close pays you monthly for as long as they process with Swipe Pay

  • Focus on customer retention and satisfaction to protect and grow your residual base

  • Add value through optional add-ons: gift cards, loyalty programs, capital, and more

  • Revisit accounts over time to upgrade hardware or offer new features




6. Collaborate with Your Sales Manager


  • Attend live team calls and optional trainings for new tips and tactics

  • Share wins, challenges, and best practices

  • Get help on complex deals, proposal creation, and pitch adjustments

  • Stay motivated and accountable with real-time support from leadership




Your Daily Activities Might Include:


  • Walking into 15–20 businesses

  • Making 30–50 calls per day

  • Sending follow-up emails or texts to leads

  • Completing 1–3 applications per week

  • Attending trainings or check-ins

  • Reviewing your dashboard or CRM to track progress




This role is

hands-on, fast-paced, and commission-driven

perfect for people who love to be out in the field, help business owners, and build something that pays them long after the sale.

REQUIRED Qualities:

  • At least 1 year of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience preferred.

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills.

  • Strong work ethic with a drive to succeed.

  • Ability to self-source your own leads through a combination of cold calling and networking.

  • Proven outside or field sales experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals.
